Jackson studied Composition for Film at University, during which time he interned at the Grove Studios under Scott Horscroft (Silverchair, DMA’S, Dune Rats, Birds of Tokyo, 360), and Jackson Barclay (Vera Blue, Maddy Jane, Birds of Tokyo). It was here that Jackson had his first assistant engineering role on The Amity Affliction’s ‘Not Without My Ghosts’ LP under engineer Jack Nigro.

After his studies, Jackson moved to Los Angeles where his music career was kickstarted under the mentorship of Grammy-nominated producer Suzy Shinn (Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Dua Lipa, Sia, Alicia Keys, Train). During this time Jackson also engineered for FIDLAR, Ilsey Juber (Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé, Lil Nas X, Harry Styles), MARLENE (Pure Shores), JaeGreen (Justin Bieber, DaBaby, The Chainsmokers) and Rival Sons.

In 2024, Jackson began working as the in-house engineer and producer at The Grove Studios on the NSW Central Coast where he had the opportunity to work for some of the country’s biggest artists including DMA’s, Birds of Tokyo, Dune Rats, Kita Alexander, DZ Deathrays, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Budjerah, King Stingray and many more. Here, he worked closely under studio-owner and ARIA-Award winning producer Scott Horscroft and had the opportunity to work under Grammy-award winning producer Adrian Bushby (U2, Foo Fighters, Muse, My Bloody Valentine, Spice Girls), Grammy and Aria nominated producer Suzy Shinn (Weezer, Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy), Grammy-Award winning producer Catherine Marks (Boygenius, Wolf Alice, Foals, The Killers), Zac Carper (FIDLAR, Dune Rats, The Frights), Aria-award winning producer Scott Horscroft (Silverchair, DMA’S, Dune Rats, Birds of Tokyo, 360), multiple ASCAP-award winning songwriter and producer Andy Mak (Vera Blue, Kita Alexander, Illenium, Jake Scott) and Aria-award winning producer Nathan Sheehy (DZ Deathrays, The Vanns, Dune Rats, Birds of Tokyo).
